Project Hummel focuses on the design and development of a first-generation experimental hopper, intended to demonstrate controlled vertical takeoff, hover, and landing capabilities. The prototype serves as a foundational test platform for validating propulsion performance, guidance and control algorithms, and structural integrity under repeated flight cycles. Emphasis is placed on iterative development, rapid prototyping, and data-driven refinement to reduce technical risk and inform future, more advanced flight systems.
