METER-02
Based on the success of the first METER series rocket, METER-02 is dedicated to optimization.
Even though the basic design remains the same, there are numerous opportunities to introduce improvements.
From mass-optimized structures and two-stage recovery systems to the development of its own flight computers.

Launch
August 8 marked a key milestone for our team. As part of the RAMOG e.V. flight day, we conducted a successful launch campaign at the test site near Buttenwiesen. The vehicle lifted off nominally and followed a stable ascent profile. Recovery was initiated at apogee with the planned parachute deployment, and the rocket returned to the ground approximately two minutes after launch, landing without sustaining any damage in a nearby cornfield.
With a measured peak altitude of roughly 560 meters, the mission exceeded our projected performance targets. The results provide a solid technical and organizational basis for future projects and continued development within our group.
