Orbit
The “Orbit” division deals with the construction of satellites and balloons as well as their operational use.
In principle, a balloon is comparable to a satellite. However, the operation and costs are much more manageable, making the balloon a good platform for testing technologies for a satellite.
The Cubesat is an ideal satellite platform for research. This pico-satellite with a square base area of 10cm x 10cm and a length of 10cm to 30cm can be developed and operated cost-effectively.
In addition to the development of the actual satellite, a symbiosis can be formed here with the “Science” division, which is responsible for the payload.
