Our current projects
METER
Our main project in rocket development, METER (Mid-sized Experimental Technology Evaluation Rocket), is a model rocket that we use as a technology demonstrator. The goal is to enable rapid design iterations through annual launches and to continuously improve our system.
The project is designed for modularity. Individual components can be replaced or further developed without redesigning the entire system. This allows us to quickly test and implement new ideas.
Almost all components are developed, designed and manufactured in-house by our interdisciplinary team.
The METER Group is currently looking for motivated people to joins us, be it design, engineering or software-development. Check out the METER Project Page and feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions!
Or join our weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 18:00 and see for yourself. We are looking forward to meeting you!
The MULTIMETER rockets will launch on August 22nd 2026. Stay tuned!

HOPPER

Hoppers are the first step in developing a self landing rocket. A Hopper is a type of rocket, that flies a short distance and lands softly without the use of parachutes.
In the Hopper project we are taking the first steps in this direction, currently developing a rocket-shaped drone in order to get familiar with the challenges of Thrust Vector Control.
We are in the process of starting this project and are currently running a trial run developing our first thrust vector control for a first prototype called HUMMEL.
Reach out if you wish to join this project, and check out the Hopper Project Page!
Alternatively, join our weekly meetings on Thursdays at 18:00 and experience the HOPPER project in-person!
